Get Creative with the MadFish Ad Competition


Let ’s talk talent. Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese, David Lynch, Jonathon Glazer, David Fincher, Ridley Scott, Terry Gilliam, Michael Mann, Michel Gondry, Wong Kar-Wai & Ang Lee have all made advertisements. Fincher started his career making them. MadFish has had a close relationship with cinema for a number of years, including our sponsorship of FTI and Tropfest - the world’s largest short film festival.


The Challenge. Create a 30 second ad promoting MadFish Wines.


The Prize. The winning ad will be shown at the Tropfest screening at the MadFish Margaret River winery and at all FTI screenings. A fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to excel your career, plus you’ll get $250 worth of MadFish wines.


The Rules. Your film must promote MadFish Wines, for inspiration check out the MadFish page of the website. Your film must be no longer than 30 seconds (inc. title and end credits) and cannot promote excessive alcohol consumption. You’re welcome to include your contact details at the end (maximum 3 seconds).

Can I enter more than once?

Sure. Why not?

Who can enter?

You need to be 18+ years of age - given that wine is an alcohol.

What format do you accept for entry?

DVD (mpeg.4)

Are there any restrictions on content?

Yes. It can't be anything more confronting than a M or PG rating - verbally or visually.

Does it cost to enter?

No, definitely not.

What images/music can I use?

If you use anything, it would have to be original. We aren't into copyright issues in this legalistic world.
