The Wine Front wine writer Gary Walsh has reviewed the 2013 Howard Park Allingham Chardonnay with an impressive 96 points.
“Wheatgerm, cedar, light funk and match stick, grapefruit and nectarine. Medium bodied, heaps of flavour – a powerhouse – toasty cedar oak in the back, spicy ginger laced finish of excellent length. Has that combination of fruit power and tension that you often get in the best Southern Margaret River Chardonnay. Ripper. 96 points”.
