Salute the storming of the Bastille with Burch Family Wines on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2013, as the Howard Park & MadFish Margaret River cellar door comes alive with La Fête Nationale, full of joyous festivities and indulgence in what the French hold closest to their hearts; fantastic wine, food, music and company. Délicieux!
Taste the exclusive Méthode Traditionelle Jeté Sparkling Range at the cellar door and be transported to the atmosphere of a sidewalk café in Paris. Or perhaps sampling winter reds fireside from the Marchand & Burch Australian Collection, crafted by Pascal Marchand, is more your thing. These wines combine centuries of Burgundian winemaking experience with the best of West Australian fruit.
If you’re looking for something more intimate, Michael Whyte will be hosting a series of informative tasting sessions across the weekend, showcasing our rarely-poured French wines. For $50 per person, guests will have the option to taste a selection of current vintage M&B French Collection wines (excluding Grand Crus), or include the highly sought after Grand Crus for $80. Tasting sessions will be accompanied with cheese (fromage!) and Yallingup wood fired bread.
Tasting fee is refundable on purchases of six or more bottles of the wines on tasting.
Bookings are essential. For further information on session times and to book, contact Emily at the Margaret River cellar door on (08) 9756 5200 or email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
