Burch Family Wines is set to return in 2013 with another luxurious wine and food affair at a highly exclusive dinner to be held in the intimate confines of the Howard Park Margaret River cellar door on Saturday 23 November, as a satellite event for the 2013 Margaret River Gourmet Escape.
This highly sought after event proceeds the Old & New World dinner held in 2012 which featured aged wines from Alsace, Burgundy, Rhone and First Growth Bordeaux, including the 2005 Chateau Lafite Rothschild.
In 2013, the focus will be “Masters, Michelin & Magnums”, with Michelin-star chef, Alain Fabrègues crafting a classic French menu around original recipes from his masters, including Jean Delaveyne. Fabrègues has become renowned for opening The Loose Box and more recently Bistro Des Artistes. He has won ‘Chef of the Year’ four times in a row and personally won the Salon Culinaire Gold Medal for nine consecutive years. In 1991, he became the holder of the prestigious ‘Meiller Ouvrier De France’.
Iconic new-release wines from Howard Park and Marchand & Burch will be poured from magnums to complement each of Fabrègues flights, and guests will have the opportunity to hear from the esteemed Singaporean-based wine luminary, Lisa Perotti-Brown, Master of Wine.
With extremely limited seats available, tickets for this enviable event will not last.
