Jeté is a signature ballet movement requiring time, dedication and commitment to create the illusion of boundless control.
Our Méthode Traditionelle wines are crafted by engaging the same ballet principles to create wines of finesse, refinement and elegance.
The awesomely scenic and wildly remote Great Southern wine region produces fine and elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes for the Howard Park Jeté Brut Blanc NV.
This wine was served to Her Majesty the Queen at the Royal Garden Party for CHOGM.
“83% chardonnay and 17% pinot noir, traditional method based on ’12 vintage, tiraged Jul ’12, disgorged after 36 months on lees. Full of joyous white peach, grapefruit and apple fruit flavours, yet fresh and crisp on the long finish.”
James Halliday, Halliay Wine Companion 2017
“The majorly grape is chardonnay (87 per cent) with the remainder being pinot noir, strong in flavour wine that flexes its muscles as it travels across the palate and a very long aftertaste , 94 points and worth the $34 asked.”

“Nose has lovely toasty, honeyed complexity. The palate has that nice firm texture and slightly creamy mouthfeel.”

“… It is a heady mix of lovely ripe lemons, some strawberry and ripe red apples, balanced on the palate by a gentle lemon peel acidity. It has some brioche notes with a little hazelnut as well, and very mild hints of honeydew melon. It's stunning to say the least.
Have it as a starter for brunch or enjoy it with a light lunch – it’s the perfect drink for Christmas morning if you will, with some roasted ham or a dozen oysters to start the day. It is luxurious and deserves very good food to go with it.”
Early harvest of grapes from our Mount Barrow vineyard located in the cool climate sub region of Mount Barker ensures we maintain fine and linear acidity and capture delicate fruit flavours, important for the production of premium quality sparkling wine. The grapes were hand harvested and only the finest free run juice is retained for the base wine fermentations which occur in stainless steel and older French oak. In order to build complexity in the base wines, portions of each blend undergo malolactic fermentation. The Howard Park Jeté Brut Blanc NV was blended and tiraged in September 2011 and disgorged after 36 months on lees. In style, the wine is “brut”.
This wine is a non-vintage blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with notes of citrus, brioche and baked apple. The rich and complex flavours of the palate are balanced by gentle, savoury lemon freshness.
The Howard Park Jeté Brut Blanc NV is an aperitif style best enjoyed young with friends, food and lively conversation.

Slightly lighter style foods suit best, such as egg or mushroom based dishes, hard cheeses, pasta or risotto, vegetables, fish and seafood. Also, compliments well with sushi, oysters and goat’s cheese.
