Jeté is a signature ballet movement requiring time, dedication and commitment to create the illusion of boundless control. Our Méthode Traditionelle wines are crafted by engaging the same ballet principles to create wines of finesse, refinement and elegance. The awesomely scenic and wildly remote Great Southern wine region produces fine and elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes for the Howard Park Jeté Sparkling Rosé NV.
“Made with pinot noir from Mount Barker. It's in a very nice place. It swings strawberry-and-spice flavours effortlessly through the palate, and yet it's by no means short on intensity. Or length.”

“The rate at which new labels are emerging from this eponymous stable is nothing short of captivating. The hitherto uncharted territory of sparkling wines has now joined the throng, and landed with quite a splash. I must admit that I didn’t expect a first-attempt Great Southern sparkling pinot noir rosé to emerge from 18 months on lees with such finesse and primary focus of strawberry hull and subtle raspberry fruit. Low dosage finishes it off neatly. Drink 2012-2014.”

Early harvest of grapes from our vineyards located in the cool climate sub region of Mount Barker ensures we maintain fine and linear acidity and capture delicate fruit flavours, important for the production of premium quality sparkling wine. The grapes were hand harvested and only the finest free run juice is retained for the base wine fermentations which occur in both stainless steel and older French oak. In order to build complexity in the base wines, portions of each blend undergo malolactic fermentation. The Howard Park Jeté Sparkling Rosé NV was blended and tiraged in July and spent 18 months on lees before being disgorged. In style, the wine is “brut” with residual sugar levels of approximately 8 grams per litre.
Bright salmon-pink in colour. This wine is a non-vintage blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with notes of wild strawberries and freshly baked pastry. The palate has a delicate balance of red berries, fine acidity and a rich, creamy texture.
The Howard Park Jeté Sparkling Rosé NV is an aperitif style best enjoyed young with friends, food and lively conversation.

Sweet dishes based on berries, or flavoured with tomato. Seafood compliments well, including prawns and lobster, or slightly pinker style meats including lamb, ham and game.
