Jeté is a signature ballet movement requiring time, dedication and commitment to create the illusion of boundless control.
Our Méthode Traditionelle wines are crafted by engaging the same ballet principles to create wines of finesse, refinement and elegance.
The awesomely scenic and wildly remote Great Southern wine region produces fine and elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes for the Howard Park Jeté Brut Blanc NV.

This beautifully presented Gift Box contains one bottle of Howard Park Jete Brut Blanc NV and two champagne flutes.

"A dominant Chardonnay-Pinot blend and very well made it had the right balance and enough toasty character to appeal to my taste, although I am a sucker for toast character and I would have liked more…”

“The NV Jeté Sparkling White has a wonderfully toasty, biscuit nose over a core of fresh apple tart and strawberries and cream. The palate gives a good amount of expressive red berry and spiced apple flavours with just enough yeastiness to compliment the good backbone of refreshing acid and long, harmonious finish. Very promising sparkler! Drink it now to 2015+”.

“The quality of the sparkling wines being released under Howard Park’s Jeté Brut and Brut Rosé labels already show that the time, energy and money put into the winery’s new sparkling venture is justified…Are Howard Park’s Jeté sparkling wines worth buying? A definite yes. The wines have life, complexity and interest…

In a masked tasting that included some of Australia’s biggest names, Howard Park’s Jeté Brut NV and Jeté Rosé Brut were the two most exciting wines…

A lovely, alive and complex nose followed by a mouth-filling and joyous mousse that can’t hide the long, dry mouth-feel and lingering aftertaste of this serious and complex Australian wine…
Howard Park is a serious producer in the sparkling wine industry.”

“This is a class West Aussie fizz from the guys at Howard Park. Love the gentle, soft and fluffy mouth feel in this wine. Has a classic mix of morning brioche and citrus, with a spiciness adding a little lift on the finish. Excellent fine drinking here.”

“A dry and chalky aperitif style of Sparkling with lemon fruit, and refreshing acidity; at the very dry end of the scale, it is certain to refresh.”

"In a resiliently competitive domestic market, you’d think that releasing a new tier of wine would be vinous suicide. Burch Family Wines however have not only released a few new product lines but they’re doing it with remarkable pizzazz. Queue Jeté Sparkling.
While the packaging is a little non-descript there is a lot more seriousness going on behind the label.
Paying homage to the upper echelon of sparkling wine production, this méthode traditionelle is lively and hits the mark for easy-to-enjoy complexity. A 78% Chardonnay to 22% Pinot ratio of grapes used keeps the region for sourcing restricted to the cool reaches of Great Southern.
Aperitifly crisp with Granny Smith crunch it carries the green fruit tones to the superbly fresh palate. The complexity is left playing second fiddle here, toasty brioche present but it meets a swift end when back-to-back with elastic-snapped finish.
I’d be keen to pit this against Jansz as a similar price-point taste-off. It’s gorgeous wine, which hits all the right places for price, quality and drinkability."

“This blend of 70% (part-barrel fermented) Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir spent 24 months on lees and is correspondingly richer and more complex.  Yellowish straw, it shows attractive marzipan and nougat notes to the nose with shortbread on a peachy palate, though it maintains good tension and line with crisp, mineral acidity to its dry, juicy long  finish.  Well done."

"...Possesses a very lively bead with a little mousse. Aromas of a little apple skin with some suggestion of baked goods - aromatically shy compared to the big brother. The palate shows a little more of the same, hints of baked apple, mineral here with a good line of acid. Moderate intensity of flavour, you'd be happy with this at $26 - as some dining companions suggested, a good aperitif style, offering ease of consumption, 'smashable' in the context of sparkling wine. All up it lacks the obvious complexity of its grander stablemate, but it's a good fizz, happy days indeed at $26."

“Broad developed toasty bouquet with melon notes. Aged flavours on a palate that’s still fresh and full of life. Lovely acidity and astringency.”

    Technical Notes

Early harvest of grapes from our vineyards located in the cool climate sub region of Mount Barker ensures we maintain fine and linear acidity and capture delicate fruit flavours, important for the production of premium quality sparkling wine.

The grapes were hand harvested and only the finest free run juice is retained for the base wine fermentations which occur in both stainless steel and older French oak. In order to build complexity in the base wines, portions of each blend undergo malolactic fermentation. The Howard Park Jeté Brut Blanc NV was blended and tiraged in July and spent 18 months on lees before being disgorged. In style, the wine is “brut” with residual sugar levels of approximately 8 grams per litre.

    Tasting Notes

This wine is a non-vintage blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with notes of citrus, brioche and baked apple. The rich and complex flavours of the palate are balanced by gentle, savoury lemon freshness.
The Howard Park Jeté Brut Blanc NV is an aperitif style best enjoyed young with friends, food and lively conversation.
