Carnelian
Carnelian, a new grape variety created by genius American vine researcher Professor Harold Olmo in the seventies, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Grenache. With experimental plantings in our vineyard in Margaret River, we have discovered that Carnelian has shown great suitability to the region expressing a well-balanced, full bodied wine of excellent character, firm tannins, intense chocolate and dark berry fruit flavours; which will benefit from careful cellaring.
