A family owned and operated company, Burch Family Wines has been producing quality Western Australian wines for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to create fine wine with expression and individuality that is embracing of tradition, yet adventurous, reflective and respectful of place.

Following this philosophy, we’ve been crafting boutique Great Southern and Margaret River wines that incorporate a beautiful blend of character, balance, elegance and subtlety. With two contemporary labels and a French/Australian collaboration under the Burch Family Wines brand, we are proud of our extensive wine history in West Australia.

Burch Family Wines sends its wines internationally as well as having a great presence in the Australian market. The Howard Park winery has held a Halliday 5 Red Star rating for 23 consecutive years.

It began in 1986 with Howard Park, its roots deeply imbedded in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Today Howard Park sources fruit for its iconic wines from family owned vineyards throughout Leston and Allingham vineyards in Margaret River, and Mount Barrow and Abercrombie vineyards in Great Southern.

The MadFish label debuted in 1992 and has grown to include fifteen varieties. These contemporary, cool climate styles are noted for their pure, fresh and clean characteristics in which the flavour of the fruit is the primary character.

The Marchand & Burch label was introduced in 2007 with the collaboration between Jeff Burch and his friend, Burgundian winemaker Pascal Marchand. This partnership celebrates a fascinating link between the Old and New World, uniting these distant lands to create a new perspective on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
