Tasting NotesBeautifully perfumed with clean strawberry and soft floral notes that linger seductively. Acidity is perfectly integrated into the body of the wine, delivering fresh red fruits and some vanilla spice and subtle minerality across the front palate and the giving way to finely layered tannins which prolong the finish. An eminently satisfying young Burgundy that can be enjoyed “on the fruit” and will build texture and weight with time in bottle.

Vineyards: This wine is made with grapes coming from two different plots. Les Longeroies and the En la Poulotte. Les Longeroies, located on a hill side facing south-east at an altitude between 268 and 312 meters, is very steep at the top of the vineyard and then gradually gets flatter in the lower part. This plot is one of the best in Marsannay. En la Poulotte is located in the village of Couchey, just South of Marsannay.
Soils: Soils are mainly clay and limestone. The grapes coming from Les Longeroies give more elegance and finesse, whereas En la Poulotte is on a more clayey soil which brings structure to the wine.
