Selected for Tyson Stelzer's Top 12 Champagnes of 2020!

The evidence is now beyond doubt that 2008 will take it place as one of the premier Champagne vintages of the 21st century. Great houses large and small have released their prestige cuvees to universal acclaim and these majestic wines are assured of a long and glorious future in the cellar. 2008 vintage Champagne represents one of the best investments in vinous pleasure that a Champagne lover will ever make.

Australia's pre-eminent Champagne scribe Tyson Stelzer called 2008 ‘a vintage of classic finesse, crystalline purity, tightly clenched acidity and monumental longevity.’ He added that 2008 is ‘the essence of Champagne,’ in his 10/10 review in The Champagne Guide 2018/2019.

This is a very special and limited release, the brainchild of Olivier Bonville to present Champagne lovers with a late-disgorged expression of 2008 - these bottles have spent nearly 10 years on lees in the chalk cellars under the streets of Avize before being disgorged in March 2019

This Champagne has been awarded 98 points and ranked #1 of all 2008 French Chardonnay wines by Huon Hooke in the Real Review: "...A wonderfully complex, mouthfilling, multi-faceted wine which is totally satisfying and ultra-rewarding. Just magical."

Stocks are limited of this special Grand Cru blanc de blancs Champagne, which deserves a place in every conoisseur's cellar
